How many babies /children are there in a class ?
In the baby/toddler swim classes, I like to keep to the maximum number of 8 however for the older independent swimming children, the number is 6 or less but can vary.
What should your baby/children wear ?
It is mandatory to wear a double nappy system for all babies and toddlers until the are toilet trained. The double nappy system is a disposable swim nappy or a re-usable swim nappy underneath a neoprene nappy (HappyNappy-www.splashabout.comEmail: info@splashabout.com). The top nappy should fit closely around the waist and thighs to form a tight seal over the disposable nappy.
Either of these may be worn under fashionable swim costumes/trunks.

Pushchairs and car seats maybe permitted in changing rooms only, however they must not block any emergency exits or access to the poolside. Please ensure that your pushchair wheels are not covered in mud, (if they are please leave them outside)

Do you run a Swimming Badge Syllabus ?
Yes, I use the Swimming Teachers Association badge - Starfish - Teddy Bear -Stanley syllabus
Can parents/carers watch from the poolside
As Aqua-Babe is now at The Junction, unfortunately their procedures do not permit poolside viewing unless it is a care of health and safety of the child. Should you need to come onto poolside, please remove outdoor shoes, or place the blue plastic shoe covers over the top of your shoes.
