Aqua-Babe was established in 1997 and is a local, friendly and independent company which will introduce you and your baby to the wonderful and fun world of Swimming.
Key aims: -
- enjoyment and confidence in water
- safety awareness in and around water
- progression to independent swimming
Lessons: -
Lessons are structured to facilitate babies or children of a similar age and ability and follow the Swimming Teachers Association Awards programme for Baby – Toddler – Children.
The progressive courses last for 6 weeks each and cost £42.50. This includes a 30 minute lesson each week (during school term time only).
All lessons have a small group size. Usually 8 for babies and six or less for older independent swimming toddlers. (More information...)
Kim also offers, one to one teaching of all ages, whether 3 years old or 60 years old and will accommodate any SEN that are required

Feeding the ducks is something we all do with our kids and I consider myself a parent who has always been extra vigilant near water but as our kids get older we let the leash go a little and the other day one of my worse nightmares happened, my 5 year old fell in the Christchurch river.
