Pre-School Swimming Lessons
Swimming Lessons for Pre-School Children
We shall continue to develop their skills previously gained in the toddler classes, please remember that every child is different and their ability is hugely important with their progression, where possible, your little swimmer shall still be with their “baby class friends”, therefore continuality, support and friendship groups remain, (you would be amazed at what they chat about on poolside!!)
For your loyalty in joining Aqua-babe, I am more than aware that our little people can catch everything and anything from nursery etc, therefore, I always offer the opportunity to come on a different day where possible that suits us all.
Structured Fun
These classes again progress on from the Toddler’s however this is the most rewarding time for me as their Teacher and I am immensely proud of their achievements.
We now work on fine tuning the 3 basic strokes of front crawl, back crawl and breastroke and some may even try being a mermaid.
Pushing and gliding from the wall.
Numerous different jumping in methods.
They are learning basic diving techniques.
Very happy to dive through hoops, under a float and getting sinkers off the bottom.
They will not sit still on poolside unless they are chatting to me or my assistant as they just want to be swimming!!
They will be as comfortable under the water as they are on the surface.
A FINAL NOTE FROM KIMMI
By this time, you would have collated numerous STA swim badges and recorded all of their achievements in their Log Book.
Both you and your extended family will be so proud of your swimmers who are now progressing onto “Big School” which I talk to them about during our last few weeks together.
They will have gained not only water confidence and swimming but water safety too and I know that whenever you take them swimming – they will never want to leave the pool, their confidence is endless.
My job is done! As their Teacher I take great pride not only in their swimming abilities but also to see them all blossom into confidant happy children and it’s amazing that some of these swimmers I knew as bumps and taught their siblings too.
Yes, at this stage after 4+ years, I have a final hug and shed a few tears and say “Good Luck in your new chapter in your life and you now have a true “GIFT FOR LIFE” that you can take anywhere in the world.
Also, A huge thank you to all of my wonderful parents and extended family for bringing your children to me for their lessons – I shall always be very humbled by you all.”
